Our manufacturing workforce consists of efficient workcells, all dedicated to producing a product family. Each workcell member has a voice in streamlining every manufacturing process. The workcell includes a member from our Marketing, Applications Engineering, Customer Service, and Manufacturing departments— customer feedback and special requests can be discussed with those actually making your product. This level of communication gives us the flexibility to alter manufacturing steps to furnish you with the exact product you want. Our manufacturing workforce is completely crosstrained to work on several different workcells. Crosstraining is yet another method we use to efficiently respond to your order and overall product demand.
Parker Hannifin has invested in state-of-the-art surface mount and automated insertion machines to guarantee a prompt response to orders. Unlike many other companies, Parker Hannifin has the flexibility to build any product in any quantity (based on demand) without relying on an outside turn-key vendor to build our boards. If your manufacturing growth requires more Parker Hannifin product, we can grow with you! Our manufacturing philosophy is simple: • Authorize JIT-based vendors to provide raw materials with low lead times • Reduce our dock-to-stock time required to receive the raw parts before we can build products • Build all boards internally with state-of-the-art surface mount and PCA equipment • Provide consistent lead times to our customers regardless of product mix
