HMI Touch Screen AB Allen Bradley 2711PRDT15C PanelView Plus Display Module
The AB 2711P-RDT15C is a PanelView Plus replacement component for field installation in a PanelView Plus graphics terminal. It is an HMI (Human Machine Interface) that lets users control, monitor or display application status information graphically. It has a 15.0-inch flat-panel color display with a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768 and 18-bit graphics. It supports operator input through a touchscreen.
The 2711P-RDT15C terminal runs the Windows CE 4.1 OS. By default, it is shipped as a closed system which launches a FactoryTalk View Machine Edition application on startup. It can be configured as an open system for desktop access. For communication, an ethernet port and an RS-232 or USB port is provided.
The 2711P-RDT15C terminal has many improvements over other PanelView Plus 400 terminals such as increased processor speed, system memory, storage space, illumination, etc. It can be connected to various external peripherals and it also supports ActiveX controls and remote connectivity. It can be panel-mounted in NEMA, UL or IP rated enclosures.
The 2711P-RDT15C terminal provides standard Windows features like command processor, Explorer shell, Network user interface, VNC server etc. It has a built-in PDF viewer for reading content documents and a mechanism for creating backups which can be restored. It uses vector-based graphics and provides data management through CSV files.

Applications
PanelView terminals operate with custom designed applications. The first time you power on the terminal, (no application file loaded), the terminal displays the Configuration Mode menu.
Remote I/O terminals provide an out-of-box application for setting remote I/O communication parameters.
